What new pistons?
Thanks for the compliment.

The hard part now is figuring out what can be done to make them better.
COB, digressive, but on the rebound side. This is shown in the catalog as a way of getting better low speed control on compression and minimize the bleed. http://www.bilsteinus.com/motorsports_2010.pdf The way it looks, it gives a decent initial bleed but ramps fast.

macr88,

What is your current setup now? I've been trying to follow this thread but I got lost. What spring rates are you now using? What is your intended setup? Circuit? Auto-x?

what sway bars are you matching with your shocks/springs?

thanks,
Jason

672f 560r
cr front bar stock 07 rear bar as of now.
My plan for the car is to eventually get a clutch type LSD but haven't even researched that yet. Street tires, no wing and possibly 235/255 with 8-8.5/9.5 if I can find wheels without fender mods.
I auto x but don't set my car up specifically for it, I also have a few high speed corners that I test on. I'm hoping to get closer to my motorcycle times as well as the car being easier to drive at the limit.

[QUOTE=macr88,Jun 11 2010, 04:17 PM] I ran 650 in the front before they were revalved, not really sure what springs you were thinking of running but it's not going to hurt anything and you can only gain knowledge. By running the springs you want you be able to better explaing to the person revalving them.

Macr88,

That is pretty much what I had in mind. Except I was going to ask Bilstein North Carolina to supply a new set of PSS with stiffer springs that the standard offering. Perhaps maybe not as stiff as what you have mentioned... But I'm still doing my homework.

CR front bar and also the CR rear bar.

I was also going to use the new 949 6ULR wheels with a 9" with 255 front, and 10" rear and 275 rear.

Bilstein wouldn't do that for me but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try and ask them.
They made me buy the PSS's and then they wanted me to send them in.

Mac, any reason you dont want to buy 17x9's and run 255 all around? I'd be willing to put money that that would be faster than getting a new lsd.

hrm... that may actually work out better. Because you then don't have to pay MSRP from Bilstein direct. You can get PSS coilovers for under 900 USD.

I'd just drop ship it to them direct.
