Thats strange. We just performed that change over on Maiers 66 Mustang Coupe. They needed a revalve so we just drilled a hole in the shock body and tapped it with a 1/8 inch pipe tap and installed the schrader valve. Actually we installed his penske remote res...
I'm confused by who you mean when you say "we" in relation to the schraeder valve conversion. Are you affiliated with PSi? or do you mean your relationship with maier?

I may have missed something here.

funny you say that because I was thinking the same thing down the line if I thought I needed compression adjustability.

Apparently, they are not interested in performing the schreader valve conversion.
Wow!! That should be a simple task for a shop.

Phil is actually going to install a different type of valve to pressurize them and on top of that he puts the body in to a deep vacuum to get rid of any air in the oil.

I do know what you mean about taking them to Bilstein but I felt good enough knowing and seeing all the stuff he does to make sure things are right.

I originally went in to dyno some shocks and now he's revalving mine.

I was under that impression as well... especially one with the reputation that PSi has. Perhaps I will give them another opportunity to answer the question at some point.

@Mac: any estimate on when your coilovers will be completed? I'd be interested to get your impression of them.

Not really sure but I'll post up as soon as they're done. I think he got slammed with other stuff right now and my only rush is for my curiosity
I still have yet to get my SOS top hats, I was lucky enough to be able to borrow some springs from a few friends and Phil has already machined the lower spring perches on the two shocks he has right now.
I might head up there for an auto x once they're done. How much is your weekend membership? I don't remember if you guys charge for one or not.

I kinda wish I had another set of PSS's

Weekend membership = $15. To run = $30 / day.

Mac, It's worth the drive to go to Mather as well. That place has large size and good grip. Sac chapter does a pretty good job on the courses as well.
