The easiest explanation is the TTX has the high speed damping of the SRC's and the low speed damping of the KWV3's combined and refined in one damper.
Do you mean the opposite in fact? High speed of the KW's and Low speed of the SRC's?

What are you using for upper mounts?

I know that some people like the high speed blow off of the KW's and it helps with comfort. I just feel that once the damper does reach that stage it recovers too slowly from it.

With the SRC's if you try and get low speed damping with the adjusters you can pretty much say hello to the bull you'll be driving but if you treat the adjusters as high speed damping then you can set them to your comfort level.

The evasive spec SRC is totally different, not sure if the adjusters work the same way but low speed damping has definitely increased and in a very good way.

I'm using AST's but using Öhlins upper perch instead of AST's

What kinda top hat are you using?

I am still deciding between these or Moton clubsports....
Does the TTX36 have a blow off system like Motons?

I apologize, we typically refer to the term "blowoff" as a 4.5-5th adjuster, as found on the TT44 and TTX40MkII. I know that Moton refers to a "blowoff" system in their external cannister, this is no different in philosophy that any other HS compression external adjuster on an external reservoir. It is basically a preloaded shim using a combination of belleville washers, when you make an external adjustment you are changing the amount of preload on the sealing shim....increasing or decreasing the force. The high speed control in the TTX is accomplished with the shim stack on the valves. When the shims on valve open....the oil is now flowing through what is essentially the main piston. Hope that clarifies things a little. Here is a link to the the TTX40 manual.. Inside TTX40 if you want to read a little more on the theory and design of the TTX.

One more question guys. Sorry.

I use to run the Ohlins MCJ damper for the S2000 some years back. I ended moving to a different setup because the rear dampers didn't have enough stroke. I believe they had 85mm of stroke, where as the KW's have 135mm.

The S2000 even in stock form is travel limited in the rear which is why I think the OE Showas come with external reserviours.

I know you guys know what you are doing, just want to make sure that you addressed this issue.

Thanx in advance.

Dino
