Coping with fuel starvation

the best spot, imo, for the surge tank is where the charcoal canister is, typically when you are at the level of installing a surge tank, you can do without a charcoal canister. the people who are installing a surge tank & fuel lines in the cabin with the driver probably have in car fuel suppression systems if they know whats good for them.

My Surge tank is on the bulkhead right behind my head. I installed a fire suppression system as a result of fearing for my life with it back there. Intend to move it under the car to where the charcoal canister was as sellier said. That said the system worked pretty well. I ran my fast lap and drove the car on the trailer. It ran out of gas when trying to pull it off the trailer. I ran it that low.
