if you want, ask to see my knob at the dc pro. the knob is excellent in adjusting how hard or soft you are. i will let you hold the knob, so you can feel the quality and weight of the knob. but, you are not allowed to take the knob, i need it to adjust my stiffness.

Lol - Imran, I have a shock adjustment tool like that. Let travis play with his knob by himself.

Through some strange alignment of the planets, I managed to 1) get registered for this event today, and 2) arrange a co-incidental work trip to northern Virgina on Monday. Paid towing mileage to a National event FTW! This will be my first Pro, and R2 looks to be a pretty good class.

I like m Gendron rear sway, but wish it were a little thinner.
Who is your buddy? I have an MX5 bar he could borrow if you are really in a bind, as long as i get it back at the end of the event. I don't have those fancy aluminum collars from mcmasters though to support the bar with the bushings. It is in storage for my plans to switch to STR every year that never happens.

Tony,

That's nice of you. His name is Ricardo Soares. Good guy, and fast when driving a non jacked up car

If you bring this, it would help him a lot. He was short on funds when I offered him mine - even at a great price, do this would help immensely.

I actually have two extra "fancy mc master collars" that are brand new and can give you since I don't need them. I bought 4, but only needed two, which I sold with the bar.

So now you too have some fancy collars. Do you have the brackets and bushings though for the MX-5 bar?

OK i will plan to bring it with me. Thanks for the collars, glad we could help each other out. I have the bushings and brackets but they have not been slotted for the additional clearance needed. I will bring them into work tomorrow and slot them on our milling machine so they are clean. Could anyone give me an idea of approximately how much i should slot per side from the existing bracket hole? I will also assume you can use his existing OEM bolts to mount this, and his existing OEM endlinks.

I slotted mine around 1/8" and it seems to be working fine. Theoretically you might not have to slot it at all but it's a little close for comfort to the diff mount, I thought the 1/8" put it far enough away that I felt comfortable it wouldn't impede motion of the diff or bar.

Yeah, existing end links and existing bolts. I didn't need to modify my brackets, but did put a washer behind in order to prevent a little binding.

Thanks!

Noel,

Do you have any parts that could help me?

Thanks!
