It was good to meet some of the B-Stock guys this weekend. I didn't get too much time to meet any of those running STR thought.
I finished low pack in my first pro running a half prepped '90 Miata in STS. Very humbling.
I'll try to keep making progress this year and run my S in the Toledo Pro.

Finally got the video up! (Good lord, what a struggle to get it uploaded!)

It just finished uploading and is now viewable. Note that I will make a few more videos, editing out my fast runs and analyzing them a bit more. For this one, sit back, relax, have a beer and enjoy the action and emotion of the BS DC Pro Solo battle with Jay "Mr. Wonderful" Toussaint! Everything from my stall at the line, running out of order, problems with getting my helmet scanned in, coning away a blazing 30.004 on the right side, and then the "it's not over yet" wait as I pull the car in to grid waiting for Jay to take his rerun <flashbacks of last years STR Solo Nationals when Thorne got me on the last run by .002s) Fantastic commentary by Mike "Junior Johnson!"

Outstanding. Obviously Jr. Johnson was a little surprised at Mr. Fantastic not being on top, but after watching STR at Nats last year, I knew it would likely be J or Nick. Great job to you both. Now we'll wait for NJ and the rematch. 
Great entertainment. Great pressure.... It's palpable.

Hahahahaha, I just watched the video, and I loved the freaking suspense....Great driving Nick, very nice lines in keeping it tidy 
I must admit, and I know it takes a toll on the diff and axles, but I freaking love Pros. I'm definitely doing more this year for sure, and bring spare axles and diffs with me.

I agree that it is a good idea to bring those spare parts... if you autocross enough, and I know you do, you will need them!
