I want to get impressions from people who have been on the track with Elise 190's.

How much faster is the Elise on a road course? From what I understand we are faster than the 111s, but the 190s is a bit faster than us.

Thanks for the input.

Ok I've got this one.
At Pembrey in Wales, UK a Elise 190 did 1.05 Mins on the short course, the Elise 111 1.09, a average Caterham 7 with Ford 1.7 Kent engine 1.04. A tuned GM 2 litre Caterham 7 1.00.
A light weight S2000 on slicks with Koni Shocks etc does 1.00 dead.

Gareth

Are you the one with the stripped white S2000 in the UK? I am talking about stock vs stock - or close to it.

What were your impressions of the 190?

OK _ Yep I stripped an s2000
The 190 Elise is very nice, I drove one for a couple of months, much more intense than an S2000, it needs a 6 speed gearbox. It is though much fastest than a standard S2000, probably due to the Yokohama rubber it was wearing

Gareth,

Can you provide details about your Koni shocks and spring setup?

Thanks.
