Are Innovative mounts legal for STR autocross cars?
The trans mount must be modified to be legal. I swiss-cheesed mine and performed water displacement tests to verify.
How did you do that? I didn't realize you needed to modify the trans mount to be legal. Any Pics?

Wait how are they not legal? I thought the rule said you can replace them with any material so long as they dont change the position.

I would drive with the 75A for a week or two. I remember my car vibrating like crazy right after install but after getting some miles on them they seemed to soften up.

I went for a quick drive yesterday, and it wasn't as bad as the initial "wtf" impression I had. I'm gonna give it a few track days or so before I make any rash decisions... I was rather sleep deprived on Saturday.

On a side note, by 1000 RPM, the vibration is nearly gone; I might just raise my idle instead. The entire feel of the car is different with the mounts; it just feels more connected.

You can not increase the amount of metal from the stock mounts.

When the rules allow, engine/transmission mounts are usually one of my first modifications. I did use slightly thicker bolts going through the bushing collars as the ones supplied are just too sloppy. I also wrapped each of those bolts with teflon tape for a snug fit. Everything is just more direct and precise afterwards.
Can you explain how you made it a more snug fit? Is the teflon tape on the thread or on the bolt shaft itself?

Just a few layers of teflon tape applied to the bolt shaft itself. The supplied bolts are standard, so I went just slightly thicker using metric.
