Rob, supercharged or turbocharged?

EDIT: saw rob's earlier post that the student was turbo.

How about a V mounted intercooler? I always hear of overheating being an issue with FI. Is this a necessary setup mod?

I don't think it's overheating in the sense that the coolant temps get to high so much as the engine bay in general get's hot. I track my car at 600whp and don't have coolant temp issues. I did have some melting random items until I added a heat shield over the header.

I do have a vented CF hood, even with the vents cut out it still barely weighs less than stock.

Also I'm not sure how your doing the fuel cell but the stock tank is in the perfect location and even with a fuel cell a swirl pot is a much better solution.

Thanks Momentum,

Fuel cell replacing OEM tank and definitely having swirl pot.

You're turbo, right?

So people are voting definitely yes on oil cooler and maybe on vented hood?

Couldn't find a monoball suspension for sale.

Ordered some Mugen bushings.

I got my monoball setup from TC Design, not sure if they still produce them though. Looks like SOS still has them for sale on their website. Very pleased with the product.

The "DISCONTINUED" label on SOS's website for the monoball scared me away.

Well, that and the price.

And my lack of driving ability.

Upgraded rear hubs?
We are working on some for Ry, and I they are going to be around 500 a set but are almost guaranteed not to break.
they are going to be made by the company that makes the open wheel hubs I think.
I was going to make monoballs for my car this off season.
if its not too much of a pita I may make a few sets and sell them

I broke a set of DSS hubs, but the second set seem to be hanging in there.

This is a picture of the first set of hubs. Both sides were broken like this:

Yup I'm turbo GT4088R, maybe switching to a 42 soon... I would agree definitely oil cooler and the hood really can't hurt but I would say you could get away without it if for some reason you were really against it.
