Go Pro Camera

I got that one to try out this year. A friend had a really cheap kodak digicam that took awesome in/out of car video so I decided to give it a shot. The sony is a little better quality than the kodak and about the same price, and has much better battery/memory than the gopro. The kodak uploads videos in a weird format that he never could get converted into anything usable... when you go to upload videos with the sony it just opens up a folder with MPEG videos that'll go straight to windows media. It doesn't have HD or widescreen or waterproof or whatever, but I think it'll be completely acceptable, esp. considering the price. If you move up to the dsc-w150 (about $20 more if you shop around) then you can even get a (not very cheap) waterproof case from sony.

i didnt like the quality of the go pro... i bought and used it 1 weekend then returned it. i mounted it on the windshield and my old casio 7mp point and shoot in car... recorded simultaneously. also the go pro stopped recording during my 4th run, i didnt read and didnt know that it doesnt support SDHC, so it only recorded 2GB and thats it. ill keep my casio as my main in car cam. though i am looking at the canon SX200 point and shoot, hd capable and 28mm lens, wide enough.
here is the go pro

I went to a track day this past Sunday and a fellow S2k owner used the GoPro camera mounted to the front of his windshield. Turned out alright. Here's a link to his video:

I finally got a hold of a friend's Canon Vixia HG20 and mounted it on top of a mount I purchased off of a member here.

Parade lap at the same track, same day as above (s2ki is having trouble embedding this one):
