I agree. Either increasing the front spring rate or reducing the rear spring rate would have the same effect.

The Comptech lowering springs I got come with 215 (218 stock) front spring rate with rear at only 270 (291 stock). I guess they have the same idea, plus corner weighting capability.

I heard ground control coilovers arent that great. I have had the Comptech/Koni set up for 2 years and its great. Ride is the same at the Tein RS. My friend has that in his S2000 and the ride is very close and for half the price.

Stick to your heavy rims with incorrect offsets and your ricer body kits on the island. As you can read, those of us who actually bought the GCs and have actually taken the time to post more than a sentence or two about them in this thread do not have any complaints.

Great price. Satisfying results.

Your an idiot. Grow up.
Spoon rims, yeah real heavy there smart guy. SSR type Cs that I also have which are lighter than my Spoons with offsets that will work even when lowered with my rolled fenders. Good job on pointing that out for me.
Cwest kit. Hmmm a kit that I have seen on many circuit S2000 race cars in Japan. Yeah thats rice. Tell that to Cwestin. Infact goto:
www.c-west.co.jp and talk with the engineers that designed the kit.

As for the coilovers, my roommate has them and is getting rid of them. He had a couple of problems with them.
Its stupid comments like this that truly show your age.
Just curious what else do you have done to your S2000? Anything?
And another thing I am from San Diego not Hawaii.

Rolled fenders. A lil' more camber. Extra molding from JPN. Life in San Diego. Wherever you may be --> you consume rice, but really rice is consuming you my S2K Zojirushi.

Ground Control has some good people making solid products at a great price. This is straight from someone who has them on his car who WAS concerned about going with a company that places huge ads in the back of ricer mags, but after having had conversations with the owner who machines parts himself and getting positive feedback from certain members on this thread and members of the BMW forum who all know a thing or two about streetable suspension parts given that they track like they have no life outside the fast lane --> I am satisfied.

Simple.

to clarify...ive had the GC coils overs. good for what they do but the springs are too stiff and DID CAUSE A little too much bounce, it felt like the neuspeed race springs i had in my 97 prelude... i have since then switched to the Comptech coils.. spring rates are very similiar to stock rates and the bounce is more of a light and day scenario when comparing to GC, i am MUCH happier with the comptechs

i am getting the koni yellows, well see if thats makes any major diff.

Good for you then if your happy. You also didn't answer my question. If you think my car is rice then oh well I really don't care. Your yet another snobby owner who thinks he knows everything with just a drop on his S2000. We have some people like that here. Its ok.

Every part I have on my car aside from the coilovers and shocks is Spoon. Yeah Spoon is rice there buddy. You obviously know nothing on that subject. Moving along again.

As for your question on the coilovers actually a lot of people have them on their civics and integras and complained of a crappy ride even with aftermarket shocks. Same thing my roommate said and in fact when I was in his car it felt like he had cut springs. You happy? Get with the program and invest a little more money and get a better product. You will be much happier when you feel the difference between the 2. This is speaking again from someone who has experienced this.
Sorry, I didn't mean to ruin the thread but its comments like his first post that I think was uncalled for. I was just letting him know that people have had problems with them. Then to name calling. That's ok too. I called him an idiot and its rightfully so after reading his 2nd post.
So back to the questions at hand since I answered yours.
How old are you?
What mods do you have done to your S2000? (besides your adjustable GCs)
Do you have any pictures of your car?
