Koni shocks - any difference between AP1/AP2?

Keep in mind that Konis have two different spring perch heights -- stock and 1" lower than stock. That being the case, it stands to reason that the shocks will work with 1" shorter springs or stock springs on the lower perches. I wouldn't assume that they'll work fine at lower heights than that, though -- at some point any shock will start bottoming if run at a ride height lower than it was designed for.

Possibly, although the OP is more about the performance of the shocks, and I figured those in competition might know more about the technical details of the shocks. I've read some great posts in this forum on custom-Konis for competition in this forum, so figured I'd ask here. So far I know default Konis are softer than AP1, not sure about AP2, softer than CR. I appreciate y'all not running me out though.
