So you dont have clicks for your rebound (on top)?

I would try 0.5 turns front, and 0.75 turns rear - rebound (from full stiff).
I don't have "clicks" for the rebound on my set of KW V3s, which were purchased in early 2006.

I'll definitely give your settings a try Billy, but I'm still curious on my original question on comparing the baseline configuration to configurations A and B

Hey Robi!

It's thanks to reading a S2000 suspension shootout in a US magazine whilst sat In a Vegas airport that I got into all this

You, Sir, have a lot to answer for LOL.
I still have that magazine...

looking forward to it!

addicting getting the most out of yourself/driver/chassis

I re-valve and custom valve KW products too and I use KW parts.

While they do not recommend or openly 'offer' to revalve the V3 dampers, they can be done. Again after working with their engineers and doing extensive track testing, I would not recommend revalving them either.
One noob and one almost newb question. Are the KW's based on Bilstein parts? The stock valving seems very well suited for our car already, but is it precise between units? I have seen some scary numbers from shock dynos from off the shelf shocks so I was curious how these rate.

I've driven on two sets, one V3 and one CS and they're exactly the same as far as damping goes IMO.

I really don't have much data to back this up but I'd say the SRC's are what you are explaining as far as damping not being the same. A friend of mine has an older set and to me they felt great so I bought them. Well mine are completely different, high speed damping is way too stiff. Mind you it was a nice change from running shocks that had no high speed damping (basically low speed and high speed raise their hands and tell each other that's not my bump).
Another friend of mine has them and he can't get enough rear compression and has it all the way in (I have not verified but he's not dumb).

I tried these after a discussion regarding the KW'.s I could not comment on the KW's so I wanted to see for myself and the SRC's are still in the garage and might be up for sale after doing a day at Laguna with a friends car on KW's. They're how I think a shock should work, mind you they're not like my 3 way adjustible Ohlins I had on my gsxr but for what I do and my setup I think they're great.

BTW I think they're Koni internals but I could be wrong, I heard that from some VW guys a while back.

They are not Koni internals but their own design. KW had a relationship with Koni during their start but they have their own design, own components, and processes that are distinct to KW.

Alright guys, so I know this is a very, very old thread, but I just got my KWs and was wondering a few things about their adjustment.

For the Compression, is full stiff all the way clockwise from under the car looking up (like Robi posted), or from the wheel well looking down?

Also, the instrucitons say that for rebound full stiff full clockwise looking down, but on mine, full clockwise looking down bring the adjustment piston all the way out, which in my experience is full soft.

Can anyone comment?

Thanks.

I do notice on mine, that the stiffer the rebound is set, the more the adjuster sticks out from the shock.
