Full stiff on compression is clockwise from under the car looking up. Basically, when you are facing the adjustment window from under the car (as you would be if you were going to adjust it) full stiff is always going from left to right in the adjustment window.

I do notice on mine, that the stiffer the rebound is set, the more the adjuster sticks out from the shock.
REBOUND - when looking from ABOVE, clockwise = stiffer.
COMPRESSION - when looking from BELOW, clockwise = stiffer. I like to just look at the 'window' where the adjustment is, and to the RIGHT = stiffer, LEFT = softer.
okay so i just picked up a set of V3s! installed them last night, and i think im the only one that got no instructions with the kit =( , my install was pretty strait forward measure, raise it , measure raise it.. lol how do i make them softer? and also whats rebound me? sorry guys complete noob here
Mine came the same way, no instructions. If you contact KW, they will send them to you. You'll probably talk to a guy named Adam. Super cool dude. He actually got me the instruction booklet, compression adjustment tool(that paper clip-like tool), and he even sent a KW t-shirt to me.
Also, you can go to KWs website and print off or save the instructions. Can't remember where, but you just put your car's info in, and you can bring up everything(install instructions and adjustment instructions).
Compression adjustment: at bottom of shock right above where it mounts to the control arm. It's a nipple that sticks out from the bottom of the shock, and sits behind a little black plastic dust cover that has to be removed. The adjuster has 4 holes in it. Clockwise= stiffer, counterclockwise=softer.
Rebound adjustment: at the top of the shock. It's an allen slot, and I think it needs a 2mm allen key. Same adjustments as compression.
As far as which way is clockwise, it's from looking down(or up) on the adjuster. For rebound, clockwise is from looking straight down on it. For compression, clockwise is pretty much looking from the ground, up to the bottom of the shock.

Maybe as a good reference point people can post up what they have compression and rebound set too in terms of clicks from full stiff. Also, maybe post previous settings and how a specific change made it better or worse.

I just got mine and haven't even installed them yet but judging by what you are saying here,I think they updated the compression adjustment. There is no black cover on mine and instead of 4 holes to stick something in to turn it, there is a purple aluminum knob with 0-5 labled on it so you can adjust it with your fingers. here is a pic

Also, did anyone recive an adjustment knob for rebound? I assumed these colovers would come with some kind of 2mm allen adjustment knob for rebound since my friends cheapo k sports came with them, Instead, I'm left to use a randomn 2mm allen key. That is my one gripe with these shocks so far. other then that, they look beautiful
You got the new sets. Mine are like that.
Wrecked: mine came with a small tool to make adjustments. Small Allen key with a knob on top labeled with -/+ 0-5.
Kind of looks like a mini version of the compression adjuster but with a Allen key extension.
