Lap belt mounting on a PCI mount

And they are 7/16 UNF not M10

What did you guys all end up doing for the lap/sub belts? Did you end up using the PCI mounting locations or drill into the floorboard/backing plates? Going through the install myself

Did you read the thread? Drill the car and use backing plates.

Obviously that’s one option but I’m more interested in the results of the people who were looking to attach them to the seat mount

I attached them to the seat mount, except the outer lap belt I used the same bolt hole as seat belt harness. I know it is not the proper way since putting backing plates is the right way to go for the sub belts and inner lap belt. I plan to convert them eventually. Was just more convenient with the mounting bracket.

At first I used the sub belt holes in the PCI mount. Then for whatever reason, safety, or trying to get the seat lower, I went with the tried, true and correct, drill through the floor with backing plates.
