Can this be used along side OBDII input? Or is it one or the other?

 

Im not sure, but it looks like one or the other.

 

You would have to add an AIM CAN data hub to have both.

But once you start with all of the add-on's you must then start looking at prices again vs other more advanced systems.
Aim Solo DL units should start going for cheap now that the model II is out.

 

Thats relative, while i pre-ordered a solo2 DL i dont see a significant increase in utility yet over the v1. In fact ive heard reports that the V2 battery life is significantly worse than the V1. I wouldnt expect the V1 to drop much in price until some of the TBD features on the V2 come to fruition. Until then its mostly like for like with more colors.
