Actually he is missing some points based on the tire sizes he is choosing. Option 1 and 3 are plus size by 10mm so +1 more point, welcome to PTB.

Not much wiggle room to stay in PTC unless you add weight to get points back or down size to AP1 wheels for the same reason.

does anybody know how many points do you get for RCAs that are thicker ball joints or just add spacers to the lower control arm ball joints?

modified control arms +4
relocation of front suspension mounting points +6
relocation of rear suspension mounting points +6

so total of 16 points possible?

CR lips also seem to receive front fascia/front splitter/front canards of total 8 possible points?

Don't know about the suspension stuff, but the CR comes with the front lip, therefore it has already been taken into consideration- no add'l points.

Yup. I'm an 08 CR, so 255 is the base tire size for me (should have mentioned that). I'll probably pick up some RA1's. I ran R888's for track days last year. I heard it may not be the safest to run R-comps without a front sway bar. Or is that more for autox?

Probably won't do TT this year, but I'm not sure what would be a better use of my 5 points to stay in TTC.

Option 1: 235/255 RA1's (+5)
Option 2: 245/275 Ecsta XS, R1R, or Azenis (+4), catback exhaust (+1)
Option 3: 215/255, 235/255 or 255/255 RE01R, Direzza, RE070, etc. (+0), Comptech FSB (+2), Koni's on stock springs (+3)

Any opinions welcome. Ideally, I'd like the FSB and RA1's, but that doesnt fit in the points
Can you use a CR bar or other stiffer OEM bar on say an 03 without points?

No.

Let me rephrase: I do not believe so, otherwise you could swap all AP2 parts into an AP1-vin'd body and still be legal.

Then, yes, you need to take points for the CR lip. I'm guessing(I'm at work right now) that the pts would be closer to +4-6 though. It could possibly be as low as +3. If you had an AP1, you'd have to take points for the AP2 front bumper + the added lip + whatever else they may want to classify the lip as. another reason why the AP1 really loses. In another thread, I listed how the AP2 is really less than +2 points higher than an AP1.
