What does a stock soft top and all its auxiliaries weigh on a non-CR s2k?

I want to say the glass window tops are 65-75lbs. That's frame, motors, etc

no rubbing problems yet, car accelerating in picture, ride height left exactly as it was in STR (12.75" hub to fender front, 12.5" hub to fender rear (pre fender pull))

Holly rear tire! Thats Farking sexy! How much suspension travel do you have in the rear before hitting something or bottoming out? Spring rates in the 800-1000 range I assume?

You're making me consider a black CR also! Although I like blue alot!

Josh, i think you'd be much better off swapping your car. Theoretically it should weigh less than a cr with UD/BD. you also have better tuning options. You'd also spend less.

That said, I love the way Roberts car looks. Reminds me of Randy Knolls old SSM mr2. I think Randy Chase owns it now.

I agree, you are probably right. I've decided to stay in STR until the reliablity issues get settled in BSP. With that said I'm planning to buy a CR around the end of March once I get a couple little things paid off and a nice downpayment saved up. This is for obvious reason as we all know why someone would pick a CR for BS and STR. I made up my mind after winning RTR at a national tour last season in a very lightly prepped (even for stock class) CR that I had only drove 2 times before locally. I won't go into anymore detail but lets leave it makes my 170k miles AP1 feel like a slug. I also plan to do a full build with documentation of weights of every item that is added or removed from the car along with my setup info to share with everyone. Sharing is caring.

almost tempted to make Roberts picture the background on my computer! Big fan!

Nut Swinger!

If you want to go fast, just go BSP/SSM. It'll cost the same as your CR fantasy!

I'm also intrigued by the idea of a 3 rotor swapped XP car.

Rear tire tucks inn just enough. 2.5" of hub travel from current ride height until tire contacts steel rear bumper mount plate and at the same time makes contact with the inner plane of the chassis. From a visual, in the picture, the rear tire has the ability to travel up until the wheel lip is level with the bottom of the fender
