Which puts them WELL short of what TT4 is going to hand them in terms of a power to weight. So the way I'm reading this is one of the most popular cars in one of the more popular classes is now going to be rendered obsolete due to lack of ability to make power easy enough to land in the class. I might be shooting myself in the foot by starting this thread as my car slides into TT4 nicely power to weight wise. But do we need to be arguing with greg for more allowances to give the S2000 a little help in the future TT4? Or do we request TTC stick around and just add 4 and slot the S2000 into TT5 in 2018?

Don't you have about 50 too many ponies for TT4? Lol

The S doesn't fit into tt4 very well unless you have way above average HP and way lighter than normal. My car does not fit the bill. I need 30 more hp...

Dysen is going to murder TT4. Aren't you almost maxed out for weight/power in TTB?

Brian, Im not even close. I'm at 11.4:1, Greg G will not let an aero S2000 get anywhere near the max for TTB which is 10.5:1.

I don't about murdering anything man, there will be some crazy built to rules TT4 cars coming out. There are a lot of modifiers that one can take advantage of such as FWD, 4door, etc. We'll see.

This statement is assuming you're going to run a 245mm tire also.

*The penalty for running a non dot tire may have changed or will change though because there isn't many non dot slicks that are faster than a Hoosier A7 currently.
I litterally copy and pasted that from the rules. Both say add

I would like to see TT3 go back to 9:1 and have TT4 at 10.5. Anything lower than 10.5 and I'll keep slogging along in TT3. I don't really want to go much slower than I am now...

Based on the TT3 participation this year, I don't see that happening.

Non-Dot also has to minus 0.5 though. Then you also adjust for size.

Yes, sorry thought it was -.7 and yes correct, tire width size will matter as well.

My TT4 setup as of now looks to be:

11.4 raw ratio
+.7 for DOT Hoosier A7 245mm
-.1 for being under 3000lb

Right at 12.0 adjusted.

It may change though but that is what it looks like for now.
