I've been as high as 229.5rwhp and as low as 2535lbs competition weight. With the avg whp formula, I'd guess my avg whp would be around 220ish.

I would like to see TT3 go back to 9:1 and have TT4 at 10.5. Anything lower than 10.5 and I'll keep slogging along in TT3. I don't really want to go much slower than I am now...
Based on the TT3 participation this year, I don't see that happening.
You mean the lack of participation. Name one NA motor that has joined TT3 because of the ratio and avg whp rule changes? I built my car with plans of running it at 8.6:1. Now I am running at 9.3:1.

He will definitely murder TT4 next year.

Using the current spreadsheet for TT# classes and adding TT4 12.0... I don't have a clue how to get to the weight I will be allowed.

You MINUS .7 for non dot slicks, so for example if your raw ratio is 12.0, your new ratio is now 11.3 which means you're out of TT4 now.

You PLUS .7 for dot tires, so for example if your raw ratio is 12.0, your new ratio is now 12.7 which means you can either add more power or lose more weight.

This statement is assuming you're going to run a 245mm tire also.

*The penalty for running a non dot tire may have changed or will change though because there isn't many non dot slicks that are faster than a Hoosier A7 currently.
I litterally copy and pasted that from the rules. Both say add
Non-Dot also has to minus 0.5 though. Then you also adjust for size.

I saw and realized that later. Ok makes sense now.

That was my exact issue with SCCA STU I needed to pull like 500 lbs out of an already gutted car. So I put a K24 in it.

My car made 276whp. I did the math and came out with an avg of 254whp.
