If I were to get one and had these problems, do they have some kind of warranty or am I risking being out the $1600?
The one they got to Annie just for her to use at Nationals self destructed, I believe on the way to Nationals or at the practice event (Annie can clarify). Regardless of what sort of warranty or guarantee they would offer, I would sit tight for now until the new design gets settled and proven.

Anyone using aftermarket foot peddles? Which ones and are they easily installed?

I'd like a slightly larger brake pedal that is more slim than stock.

I'm still trying to find out when the new design diff will be ready. I personally won't put another old design one in my car

Diff #2 broke on practice starts on the Friday before the Pro Finale, so the car had the stock Torsen in for both the Finale and Nationals.

Thanks for the update So are you paying for these diffs or is OS Giken giving you replacements?

Definitely post up when they let you know when they'll have a new design. Did they say what the problem was?

So, on the (relatively) cheap-ass route of revalving Konis, is it worthwhile to get the rear shock bodies and shafts shortened? If so, how much? Fronts OK with just an extended top hat?

The fronts should be good as-is. The tires will hit the top of the fender before the shocks bottom.

The rears depend on how low you want to go. Don't know how much $ for the work on the rears. Get a hold of Jeff Wong at ProParts in CA.

I'm about to cut my rears down some. I'm not sure the price difference on your konis compared to my JRZs but I got quoted $200 for the rebuild because to cut the shocks down you have to rebuild them of course. $160 each for the shorter bodys and $160 each if they have to cut down actual shock shaft. So basicly $360-520 each shock to cut down the shocks.

I know a few of you asked me about the Delrin bushings I had made for my car. Specifically the offset upper control arms. Here are some pictures of the offset ones they did for my car. I saw 3.2 degree neg camber with these at 13" front ride height I never tried to max them out. You can go ahead and contact me if you have any questions about the bushings.

Already been talking to Jeff, it's a reasonable $75 per shock to shorten body and shaft. I suppose 1" shorter than stock (EDIT: which looks around 1.5" at the wheel) is good, or is there a reason to go more than that?

You dont want them to short to where you don't have any droop at ride height but you don't also want to have less than 2" of travel in the rear. I bottomed out a 700lbs spring on a shock that had 1.8" of travel. I think 2.5" of usable travel with .5 bump stops (badicly 3" of shaft) would be enough to be able to sleep at night.
