Very nice. I think w2w is the natural progression for us track addicts! I couldn't bring myself to race my s2k but this is something I'm considering in the future.
Not to change the subject but where do you race? I'm south of Charlotte about an hour. No I dont want to race my S2K but I would like to come watch if they let you do that.

I primarily go to Carolina Motorsports Park which is about 35 minutes from Rock Hill, SC. It's located in Kershaw, SC. There's lots of track events happening there every month. Come on out to a NASA event and get a ride along on track.
We race at Road Atlanta (3 hours from Charlotte), Virginia international raceway (2 hours from Charlotte), Roebling Road Raceway (4 hours from Charlotte), Atlanta motorsports park (4 hours from Charlotte) and Rockingham speedway (2 hours from Charlotte).

Now THAT is very interesting! I live in Kershaw, or at least the outskirts there of! I hear them racing from my house all the time! I would love to come out for a ride along or just to watch sometime , how do I find out when these NASA events are?
I'm going to pm you with my name and number, give me a shout sometime when you will be out there please. (Done)

January 14th/15th was the first race weekend of the NASA SE season.
The ap1 had a full suspension refresh. New bushings all around along, new tie rods and upper/lower ball joint replaced. New spherical toe arms, compliance bushings and an alignment.
It was my first time back to Roebling Road Raceway since summer of '21. A lot had changed since then.. Track was repaved, car is much lighter, now caged, 2x better suspension setup, better aero..
The ap1 felt dialed, a ton of grip everywhere. I had 12-14 heat cycles on my toyo RRs but they still came to life after the first couple laps.
I took pole in quali and landed P1 two out of the three races and P2 once.
I was able to reset the HC1 lap record in each of the three races. Previous record was set September of last year on the new pavement at a 1:19.00. The first race I managed a 1:18.4, then second race I ran a 1:18.1.
There was a decent gap at the start of the third race and I was able to put together a flyer. The new record is now 1.17.47.
With a fresh set of RRs and clean air I'm sure that record will be broken but it feels good to have my name in the NASA record books
We have a group doing a private weekend the 1st weekend in March at CMP. Plan to collect as much data as possible and work to perfect the rebound/compression settings on the MCS.

So when is the next race in Kershaw, I'd like to come watch.
Never done w2w in an S...my pocketbook isn't nearly deep enough but w2w in general is such a different kind of driving compared to the time attack mindset. So many more variables. Even sprint races are exhausting. Congrats on getting your car back on the road...it came out incredibly well.
