S2000 wrecked by E36 M3 @ CMP
Never done w2w in an S...my pocketbook isn't nearly deep enough but w2w in general is such a different kind of driving compared to the time attack mindset. So many more variables. Even sprint races are exhausting. Congrats on getting your car back on the road...it came out incredibly well.
Best thing about w2w is using traffic to block out your competition lol.
I have huge respect for the drivers at the top of the motorsport fields. They're on another level.
Appreciate the kind words. It's been quite a ride this last year..
NASA stands for national auto sport association.
It takes so much more out of you mentally and physically compared to Time Trial or TA. Awareness level 100 at all times. You can't afford to mess up your pace by being distracted.

All day both days, first races start around 9-10am but they have hpde and time trials going on throughout the day.

Now go out and do a 24 hour race. 223 gallons of fuel, 2 rotors, 2 sets of pads, 10 tires, 4 drivers.
the strategy and race craft runs even deeper. I have run a 9 class enduro (Miata’s,,cup cars, ferarri challenge cars, and at the tip Daytona prototypes). At times I had 4 classes , all racing for position,,using each other as a pick. The speed differential is mind blowing. When you get through those moments of 3-4 classes all coming together and racing for position, you breath a huge relief.
