Change out the front windshield for lexan. How light of a battery? Li-ion car batteries are common now and only a few pounds. Driver weight reduction? Get down to 8% body fat.

No real constraints. Objective is to compete in Unlimited RWD for GTA. I want to theoretically get the car as light as possible. Eventually will be adding a S/C kit and hope to get it around 500WHP. And when doing so want to loose a lot of weight. (When power comes so will more downforce and a BBK)
You will want a minimum of 1000 whp to compete in Unlimited RWD.

Cardio.

If it’s not adding performance or required by the rules, remove it.

Unfortunately due to firewall modification I might have run that class. But after further reading I can hopefully get down into the Limited class.

The battery is super small, I think it saved around 8 Pounds?

Been working on cutting down my own weight. Went from 220 to 187.75 LOL

You can get a Braille li-ion battery at 6lbs or less depending on how much capacity you need. Stock battery is around 26-27lbs or so.

Solid work on your weight reduction! Cardio helps a ton in staying focused during driving too, especially in hotter conditions. There's a reason all F1 drivers can run marathons, they have to be in peak shape to not only be able to drive in the heat and humidity of Malaysia pulling 5Gs in the corners but also to stay mentally focused.

I haven't seen these listed:
- delete mirrors
- remove center section of "high X-bone" unibody
- gut trunklid & replace hinges with pins
- remove literally everything under the dash & make your own harness
- NVH melt sheets on unibody
- gut headlights

I've got mine down to about 2640 with me in it (220lbs) and half tank of gas. That is with bars going forward to the damper houses, extra diagonal rear braces, passenger seat w/ nascar bars, steel bodied dampers, oem brakes, steel k swap mounts, additional trans adapter plate.
