These are the racingbrake.com two-piece rotors for the stock S2000 caliper: http://www.racingbrake.com/S2000_FRO...p/2081-381.htm
If the 2-piece rotors solve the cracking problem, I think I might go with them instead of BBK for 3 times the price. I wonder if 2-piece rotors AND ducting would do the job, it would still cost way less than BBK.
Richard, if you're doing a good number of track days, I'd recommend going straight to a Stoptech BBK. You'll see significantly reduced pad wear and overall better braking performance and reliability. I priced out brake pads, and there's only like a 5% difference in price between pads for the Stoptech calipers and the stock calipers.

and if you can get new rotors and hardware (excluding hat) for <$500, that's a big motivation for going with that kit. most people will want a backup set of rotors in case one cracks at the track, but keeping an extra set of $850 rotors around isn't cheap.

Richard, there's another solution that Robrob and hondaf1 have tried out. They used an Accord V6 caliper and the Racing Brake upgraded rotor that's slightly thicker and larger in diameter. It appears that it will fix your cravings for more brakes while decreasing the chances of cracking for a lower price. On top of that, they should fit over OEM wheels and those +63 wheels you may have. Hondaf1 and Robrob can probably chime in on this.

the nice thing about 2 piece rotors on stock calipers is that you can keep your old OEM rotors as spares if you crack a rotor at the track. It's a much easier swap at the track and it should get you home safely, you can then replace the outer ring of your 2piece at home
