Not unless you have a CR

I dont have a dyno plot for my car but lets say 212 average? so 245 or smaller (+0.7), A7's (-1.0), Less than 3000lbs (-0.1). I am looking at 2628 min weight. With R7's: 2416 lbs.

I can see my car getting to 2700 or really high 2600s like some of the other caged cars but that's about it. With what I plan to do in the near future i figure i will be 2720 (avg hp of 219 on A's). How much is being down 7hp average going to hurt lap times? Maybe it wont be much. The fast S2k in TT4 are going to be the guys with light cars like Wynn and Dysen or my pig with engine work.

And that part of the rule is dumb. I have a 2006+ dbw no title race car with More different VIN numbers on it then I can count on fingers and toes. I could claim it's a CR if I found some VIN's on it that are CR Vin's and no one could tell either way. Need to allow full conversions. Since everything on a CR can be changed legally in TT4 any AP2 should be allowed CR aero cause who's to say it's not a cr... or is.

Keep in mind, ECC is at sebring next year and Sebring is a HP track. Most corners are slow and aero will mean little. The fast Combo will likely be no aero running as close as you can to a 11.0:1 PW weight and correct gearing to get 135 mph out of 5th on the straights.

I have been screwed by owning a CR for the past few years. Greg and our TT Director refused to let me "unCR" my car and rule is as an AP2 even if all the local guys on this forum were cool with it and the none S2k crowd wouldn't have known the difference.

Thats BS, dont penalized a special edition car from converting to a base model for years and then tell the owners they now have to make it a base model.

Clarification: I ran this up to someone in the know and since the CR is a different line item its okay to keep my CR aero

Line item won't matter for a TT# class.

Buy a crashed car (or go visit You pull n pay) and rob the VIN numbers off it. Now it's a non-CR.
