Steets of Willows
I kinda wanna go, but I think I need to save some money for now :-/ Then again - there aren't that many track days left this year...
I dunno - I'll suck at Buttonwillow. It's a fast track and I chicken out on fast turns.

I'd chicken out too if I were running 225's in the back
Put those on the front and get a 245 RA1 in the back
but then there goes the entry fee. This GF crack pipe addiction is expensive
Seriously, no better time than the present to work on your fear of fast corners. Next year you'll be a year older and even more afraid.
BW's got lots of room. Oh yeah did I mention I suck at BW too?

First of all, BW is not a fast track.
It has one semi fast corner and even that is more like an oval than a turn.....
BW is a great track to learn to go fast because it forces you to pay attention for a long time. Good for making those braincells work. It's also good to raise your game when it comes to shifting. It's fairly technical and very rewarding when you get it right.
Besides, when you don't spend your money on a trackday -- what else are you gonna spend it on? You see, it's a very logical answer.
You're gonna do the trackday anwyay, so don't waste your time talking yourself out of it.
Besides, if you don't go, I'll never take you karting again.......

Rev,
I have a set of 225/245 RA1 that are pretty much all they way down, but very evenly worn. They have easily another couple of trackdays in them. If the guy who bought my rims doesn't want them, you can have them.
