I ran the CE28Ns without the rings for tens of thousands street and track miles without incident. I tend to agree with Dave on this that our hub/wheel setup is not ment to be hub centric. If i'm not misake a true hub centric setup will use lug nuts that are flat against the wheel and not conical or spherical.

The CE28N's come with plastic centering rings, which I and most people don't bother using, so the studs support the weight of the car. If I am not mistaken, when the stock wheels are mounted there is still a space around the hub too, so the studs are carrying the weight.

I wasn't talking about the bling bling knockoff spinner that Bond used to cut into other people's tires.

I was thinking more in lines of BTCC (touring car) styleee.


You get an air freshner for that van yet

it's only an inch and short of being called dubs...big difference! last time I checked, there's a a song named after those spinning things...called spinners!!!! I saw on recently on an old civic, they were hub cab spinners!!
