Did you (James) buy the Bauer CR? I know that it was parted out from STR trim, but it'd be something if he bought the chassis.

No, Annie traded in her car.

Thorne: great job on the bar mounts bud! If I was keeping my Gendron bar, I'd buy this in a heartbeat, assuming you're not the guy that did the welding. JK! Bill's mounts are great but way overpriced IMO, and it was a matter of time before someone else made a cheaper one. Free ecomony is a bitch.

If anyone is interested, I have my Gendron bar with SUPER Monster custom 1.5" bar for sale. Works great on my car, but want to sell because we run on 3 different sites with different grip and hence different bar settings , and want the Ankeny bar for easier adjustability. $550 plus shipping.
James, time to update your sig Pic. Something about blue STR CR's just do it for me
Wow, just seeing this now. Yes, I really should update my sig pic. The funny thing is, the current pic isn't there to "look cool," but it's a reminder to myself not to drive like a baboon. That pic was from my first Nationals a while back, and a friend photoed all the S2000s in the same spot. Of all the S2000s he took, I was the only one hooning it up with lots of countersteer... A painful reminder of how NOT to drive on a high grip surface like concrete...

I have some great shots of driving the blue CR, just don't have a place to put it online to use as a sig. I should work on that though

The original plan was to co-drive with her again for 2012, and actually get a chance to drive it with a non-grenaded OS Giken diff. I think maybe that diff would have been worth .012 seconds, or probably could have cleaned up one of the 3 runs that I coned that could have given me the championship
It would have been kewl to see what I could have done with that car in 100% form, but we'll never know now... Annie has automotive ADHD and sold the S2k

Just got what was supposed to be the Gendron 1.25" hollow bar, and it does look like it, except the arms are different, there are only 4 adjustment holes, and no lightening holes. I measured the OD of the bar and it is 1.25", with splined ends, and hollow inside. So which bar/arms are these? Can the arms simply be swapped for the 6 adjustment hole ones?

It's not a snapped endlink, maybe just a weird angle in the pic.

Actually, the seller on this forum mentioned something in his ad about a gendron copy bar, which he was selling along with his car. So I specifically clarified it with him, and he said he had cloned Bill's rear bar, but the front bar he had was an original authentic Gendron 1.25" hollow bar. I was wondering if maybe it was an older design or something of Bill's.

The above is actually the seller's pic, I didn't realize at the time it looked any different or had a different # of adjustment holes than the real Gendron bar.

I see, contact bill and ask him maybe it was one of his first really old bar. Not sure. My bar looks nothing like that though.
