I can agree with that definitely

Luckily I'm anal retentive about keeping (and organizing) photos of stuff that inspires me. Hopefully Nick won't mind me posting these here.

Thanks for the pics. Wonder why he bent the arms out so much towards the shock - seems to me more shock clearance would be good, am I wrong?

Edit: I guess to keep the endlink from having too much of an angle to it? That might actually make a difference with that long of an endlink...not sure

Which ever is easier to use, obviously.

Both? All of them? The one that is easiest to get to?

Thanks Rob,

I do mean well and 90% of the crap I post I post to be helpful or I post in hopes for some one in the future looking for certain info to find my post and it help them out. I claim to know nothing and I'm not proven to be fast. So I'm basicly a noob that honestly wants to help out anyone in anyway I can. I sometime joke and say stuff that might come off alittle wrong but to me my posts read as if I'm joking but maybe not to others. (IE- The swaybar crap, I clearly don't think gendron is a god, I'm the one thats bitched about getting parts that don't fit and poor fixes) I just wanted to let our friend know that he didn't have a bar that gendron sold based on what my bar looks like. Unknowingly gendron made bars that looked simular but at the end of the day we found out that infact I was correct and the bar didn't come from gendron. Therefore the ANON seller lied to the guy that recieved the bar. Sorry for speaking up and trying to help out. My joking post must of been taken wrong.

I'll do alittle more lerking and alittle less posting in the future. "Apparently this isn't my facebook page that I can post everything and anything on" or so I've been told in a PM reciently. I'll keep my post whoring to my own build thread and if you don't like anything to say I guess you can just ignore it.

For the people that are my friends Marc, Dave, Matt, Eric, Rob (even though you joke with me alot, which is ok), and the rest of you that support my STR adventure I'd like to say thank you. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't be as seriously about trying to have a great STR car. If you see me at a tour come up and atleast say hey. I do mean well. If I'm setting last place and cone away every run it's ok to laugh because I will be laughing about it also.

Rant over...

On topic-

I like nicks bar, I bet it saves weight (my goal) and seems to be very adjustable. With it mounted right against the frame I would think it's very stiff also. Now if it had ball bearing mounts like on robs bar he made I would like it alot. I love ball bearing mounts over the bushing mounts.

They are bearings, or at least bronze bushings which should be similar in feel.

Also, just to clarify, Robert's mounts are not ball bearing mounts. They are bronze self-aligning spherical bearings. The bar will slide/rotate inside the bronze. They are McMaster P/N 5912K11.

Angles like that are going to be common when setting the FSB on the stiffer settings. One solution would be to flip the end link to the other side of the mounting tab on the lower control arm. Rod ends of that style can handle very large angular misalignment (about +/- 25 degrees) compared to the more typical rod ends that mount with a bolt.

It appears if end link was flipped to the other side of the LCA mount, it would interfere with the brake line. For which the brake line mounting tab has already been 'relocated'.
