Very cool! I am sure you will put that bar to good use.

I love buying used stuff or leveraging stuff that I already own! A couple of years ago, I upgraded Gendron FSB solid center section to a super duper stiff hollow bar (needed for the stock class days). So today, I started the process of buying a 2nd set of arms, endlinks and ball bearing mounts from Bill. That will allow me to use my old solid center section bar on the S2000 being repaired. I will then swap the ball bearing mounts to my newer S2000 that will be autocrossed. Man, I can't wait for Dixie to come!!

Did you try moving the endlinks to the front side of the control arm?
I've tried flipping the bolt around so the nut is on the outside.

Would mounting the lower part of the endlink to the front really help? I'll give it a try.
From everything I've seen it should. It provides more clearance when you are at the stiffest setting.

Here is a picture of a gendron bar, but it is the same idea.

Edit: I can't get the gallery to work. If you go to post #5 you can see what I'm talking about.

Guys I talked to bill today and wanted to share the news with everyone! He has made a ball-bearing rear sway bar for the s2k. It's hollow using 120 wall tubing and it weights about 8 lbs with everything. He said it has 5 holes and calculating the rates at the wheels the stiffest setting is 110 in/lb or degree/lb (he didn't say and I forgot to ask) and the softest setting is 75 in/lb or degree. He said the stock 00 ap1 rear bar is 230 so that might be able to tell us if he used in or degree.

He said he shipped out the first one the other day and can start making them soon. The price is around $400.

I'm not sure I want the weight gain but I'd love ball bearing mounts front and rear.

Interesting, I called him on Monday and left a voicemail and haven't heard from him at all. He was supposed to ship out my front sway bar (he ran out of end-links last week) on Monday and send me a tracking number but I haven't gotten anything. I'll have to call him tomorrow in the morning.

Cool to hear about the rear adjustable sway bar in the works. I just bought a front NC bar to use in the mean time since the front bar emptied my wallet.

Got my tracking number on last Friday, and the bar actually shipped on this Wednesday. USPS shows it left MA, but, no other entries. Definately should have it in time to install during my Christmas leave. But, if the salt starts to fly before then wont have a chance to try it out until Spring.

Those stock rear AP1 bar numbers don't sound right. They sound really light. I do love the idea of an adjustable rear bar though.

Regarding front swaybars - After the hardcore bars (Gendron, Saner, Ankeny) - would it be right for me to assume the Eibach is the next in terms of stiffness.

I just talked with Bill Gendron; he's still waiting on UPS to deliver more end-links to him so he can get my bar shipped out. He talked about the new rear sway bar and sent photos and rates...

There are two versions of the rear bar and they have aluminum arms (5 adjustment holes) with bearing mounts.

All readings are at the wheel. (Stock AP1 = 168 lbs/in at the wheel)

1" x 0.125" hollow bar (Weight: 8.5 lbs)
-----------------------
1 - 84
2 - 92
3 - 103
4 - 112
5 - 126

1" solid bar (Weight: 13 lbs)
-----------------------
1 - 122
2 - 134
3 - 149
4 - 166
5 - 187

Bill told me $599 for the rear sway bar with bearing mounts. $550 to the first 5 people that order.

Anyone have pictures of the front Gendron w/ ball bearing mounts? Bought used w/o install instructions and don't have anything to go off in terms of what it should look like.
