Thinking about getting something different
with all the other headaches developing for friday FC, JFO said he did not think bringing the FSCCA was a good idea.
if you come out friday, you could stop by the house afterwards and see it close up.

not holding my breath for the new Z06, qualitatively, it's just more of the same thing. It will not convert anyone.
As far as i'm concerned, for everyone posting here...anything less that a radical on track or equivalent autocross vehicle will NOT satisfy

What about another Radical Challenge in November?
Make it an annual thing.

I don't think the Ariel Atom has a sequential gear box.

Just got back from the races this weekend. Im running Spec Miata right now and even though we have 20+ cars they wont give us our own class.........so we ended up having 2 M3's and a Z06 in our class. I was not impressed with the Z06. The guy driving used to race the BMW Cup against the driver driving the M3 and they used to be very competative. Now the Z06 is only running 1.2 seconds a lap quicker than teh Spec Miatas and the M3 is a full 4 seconds faster than the Z06. Just something to think about before making a decision.
With my old turbo miata i was running .4 seconds off the M3's fastest lap this weekend. So it was significantly quicker than the ZO6. Now at California Speedway when we run the sports car configuration the Z06 gets to stretch its legs a bit more and was 6.8 seconds quicker than the Spec Miatas (only 1.1 seconds quicker than my turbo miata). So depending on the type of tracks you race on...choose your next racecar wisely.
