Mike regarding room, the Amerihost is much nicer than the best western.
Well, it seems like most of the folks I know who are also going are staying in the BW, so I guess I'll choose to be sociable. I really don't care much about rooms anyway, as long as they are clean and safe and have a working shower. (edit: and other plumbing, too....)

You're confusing me w/ Josh

I've only cracked 1 rotor like that and it was at buttonwillow.
I didn't know there was anyone else who towed his car with a molester van. Must be a case of mistaken identity....probably happened a lot when you owned that ride .

that would me then but the only time I've had a rotor crack and come apart on me was at BW. (that is come apart while I';m moving)

Maybe they were close to cracking or had a big enuf crack that I stopped. But rotors usually last more than 1 weekend and them cracking -at- thill doesn't mean that thill is a hard track on brakes. I crack rotors all the time, mind you I change them well before they come apart.

Thill is for the most part very mild on brakes.

They're right next door to eachother and depending on which side of the BW you're in the amerihost can be closer to the resturant (where everyone usually hangs out).

Not that the BW is a bad choice, just that the amerihost is a LOT nicer.

Sunscreen and ice water.

But I know you always pack the suncreen and freaky hat by default...

Does Mike wear the freaky hat under his helmet?
Is sunscreen a fire hazard?

Hey Mike, I'll see you there then for the day with CFRA. First time for me at that track as well. Who are you going with?
