For brakes a full flush for me is get the car up on stands and gravity bleed a whole bottle through the system. Starting from the furthest line from the reservoir.

Quick flush is if I am heading to a demanding track on brakes. ACS on the west coast. About 1/2 bottle.

Every time I change pads I bleed a little bit prior to pushing the piston in for the new pads. Gets the fluid out that could have moisture or has seen the most heat. I'd rather bleed that out than push it back into the system.

Okay... that sounds about right. To me, bleed and flush are the same thing.

Thanks for sharing the little bit about bleeding a little bit of fluid when you push the piston back into the caliper... going to have to try that next time.
