looks like i'm the only guy that runs fine on oem pads and tires combo!
It felt "OK" during my last session at Cali Speedway a couple of weeks ago... the pedal just never feels as tight as it once did. I guess I need to bleed them more.

It is your pads Ape. Why would you buy EBC brake pads? You don't need the fancy rotors either but I'm sure they're not hurting you.
You want to track your car = buy track pads for longevity & high heat capacity.
You want to get the daily driver feel/sensitivity = switch over to low-operating temp. pads (ie. stock) for better modulation.
Follow the advice on this thread and you'll be fine. Its very simple.

I only feel fade after 20minutes of driving on OEM fluid, but I upgraded to ATE fluid and have only experienced pad fade at the very end of a 25min session. I guess there is lots of cooling down time for the pads ?
at this track, lap times are around 1:20max, completely flat and a top speed of 165 km/hr - aka Dunville autodrome

I used to use Colbalt VR pads, RBF600 and stock rotors and they worked great.
But after changing to some Project Mu race pads, and 2 track days later, this happened.
Hi bellwilliam, welcome to s2ki.

My EBC yellows actually started stopping pretty decent once they bedded in. I think i really just need a gooooood bleed and I'll be good to go.
