Track time.
Hey all!
Ive decided that its time i start taking my S2K to the local track here in Sydney.
Im very happy with the overall performance and handling of the car, and am relatively new to track days etc. so im definately no pro!
What are the general mods that i could make to the car to make it that little bit more suited to track days before I head out?
Im not looking to spend a fortune on the car, I just want to know what the general "must do" mods are for the S2K...
Engine, Suspension, Tyres etc....
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ross

Believe it or not, most instruction of HPDE suggest that it's best for novice driver to drive their car in stock trim.
I could see the reason why.
without modding it, you will know the weakiness or some point you want to alter, if you mod the hell out of the car already, you added varible and error to the equation.
during the rest time, some guys would jack their car up and change some minor setting such as sway bar end point, damper valve, etc.
for your first track day, just make sure all the item in the car is tie down and in good non-leaking shape.
sa95-sa2000 melon bucket would do the trick.
i have a 4 point harness for track too, it's much better than stock seatbelt but again, i can't adjust the radio with it(no good for street)
