True that the car will roll more with stock suspension/lower spring rates, but stiff suspension does not translate into liquids inside the car becoming more viscous. Fuel's gonna slosh around unless there's something inside the gas tank to prevent it from doing so. A sloppy suspension may even help slow sloshing down. Don't believe me?--try driving back from Peet's coffee on a track tuned suspension without scalding your nuts.

How does stripping the interior affect front/rear balance, and does it matter? It would seem like gutting the interior/trunk would change the balance a bit, but I don't know how much.
Not that I'm going to be doing any gutting, just idly curious.

I will also be removing my front bumper support, which is supposedly another 12-15 lbs. I will leave in the rear because I do not want to take out any more weight out of the rear.

So does anyone have an opinion on how much weight you can remove before the ride hide is significantly altered? For those of you completely stripped down, any of you have stock springs/dampers?

Stock and gutted the rear out but added HT and rollbar. Ride height increased about 1/4". Just remove as much as you can. Chances are you'll only be able to remove 200lbs anyway. Thats like driving w/o a fat passenger. which do you prefer?
