Where can I get some race tape?
Any one use it? If so, where can I get a few rolls from? I'm gonna be auto-xing in a few weeks and I would like to tape up my bumper to avoid cone damage!
Thanx

Just get the "blue" tape that is available at Home Depot or Osh (those are places I've picked it up). It's a masking tape that works well on paint - sticks well, easy to remove, doesn't damage paint.....If you go to the paint dept. and look for it it will be the only blue tape they have.

That blue masking tape is probably a good choice if you take it off the same day. If you want real racers tape -- which is basically duct tape in colors -- try http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/

Some racers I talked to recommend the "gaffers tape" listed on the website.

I agree w/ Strike.
Pick up some of the tape that is used for masking trim when painting - it does not leave any residue unlike duct tape (or colored duct tape i.e. race tape).
