O_o sucks don't it

The accessport has more potential in it though. As i said before, all i have on there is a basemap.

The tune is free, due to the accessport being brand new a shop is custom tuning for free.

BTW, the Tanabe concept G exhaust sounds awesome.
Why are you gloating? You spend ~$3000, more if you didn't install all the parts yourself.. just to make it a driver's race between your civic and an s2k? How you spend your money is your business.. Enjoy your ~14sec civic.

Because it's just bolt-ons for that price, but at least they gained me a decent bit of power. Probably 30+ horsepower from the bolt-ons.

Supercharger would've gained me about 70, but for around 1-1.2k more.
FWIW - I think the $1-1.2 more for the supercharger would have been a better choice. To each his own tho..

This is funny.
Dont get me wrong the new si is a sick car.
But you cant come on here and think you are the fastest.
All I have now is a ap1 with a ap2 block and a clutch.
Guess what I still rev to 9000 rpm so thats still more then
yours. and I walked a new si. from a dig to probably 75.
He def had a intake and exhaust dont know what else.

I use to pull on sti's all time and I know for a fact a lot of s2k
on this site can do the same.
So untill you can do that please dont come on here and try to bash s2k's.
Do you mean that you have an AP1 head mated to an AP2 block which rev's to 9k??

^^ i'm a little past bolt-on considering i have a Cobb Accessport and lightweight flywheel as well.

Also, he's not a bad driver. That's a pretty stupid assumption.

When you start in the same gear, floor it, and noone pulls, exactly how can it be so hard to floor the gas.

Like i said, i don't even have a custom tune yet.

THIS IS A BASE-MAP.

For reference and comparison, i can walk g35's. I've raced a couple already and walked right past both in 3rd and pulled pretty good in 4th. Also one 350z so far as well.

my car = not slow.

I can guarantee they weren't 06+ though.

But anyways, i don't get why you would even say that, because i didn't say i won. I didn't get it in 4th and he started pulling pretty good, but the extra 400 rpms in 4th let me rev out to 111 mph instead of 104
What is your redline with the reflash?

so cliff notes

-you have around 3k in your civic
-you lost to an S that has basically no mods (what you listed probably adds 0 power)

does that sum it up? i'm glad you like your civic, but i dunno what you were trying to accomplish with this thread.

8600 rpm rev limit

btw, some of you guys are being kind of ridiculous.

i never said my car was the fastest thing on 4 wheels, and i also have an s2000.

Especially the "congrats on your 14 second civic..." comment

arrogant... me? no.. at least not when it comes to my S! I detected you being "arrogant" urself in ur opening post and in some of the others that followed. ie. "sucks don't it"

Fact: the s doesn't respond well to bolt ons.
Fact: ur civic does.
Fact: u spent 3000 to make ur civic as slow as an S.
Fact: ur gloating about making ur civic a 14 second car.
um.. I think that covers everything.

I'm not being arrogant in the least. I'm happy to keep up with an s2000.

You on the other hand only posted in this thread to call my car slow and i spent too much money, this that and the other.

Cmon now...

And i never said naturally aspirated was cheap. I think everybody knows that O_o

Here's some more facts:

Fact: S curb weight: 2809; Civic Si curb weight: 2945
Fact: I weigh 240 my friend weighs 140
Fact: The S starts with 237 horsepower; I started with 197
Fact: Honda made both of these cars...
