Well, yours would, since it can beat stage 2 Golf R's.

geared will pull till they get into overdrive gears, which I would consider to be 5th gear on our cars, then the gearing advantage will be in favor of the 4.10 car as 4.77 car will be in 5th and 4.10 car will still be in 4th. I've pulled on a friends stage 2 WRX but as soon as I hit ~115 and shift into fifth he reels me in pretty hard.

I thought 5th gear was our 1:1 well not exactly 1:1 but its closer to it than 4th is I believe.. And if you go into 5th at 115 with 4.77's that's still higher than I go into 5th at with my stock ap2 gears..

AP2's 1-4 are ~5% shorter from what I've read, that + 8k redline means ap1 with 4.77s and ap2 stock geared shift at about the same point. I may shift into 5th at 110, I dont do it often, so I can't remember exactly. Either way, 1-4 is where I prefer to race at

Yea the ap2 1-4th is like a 4.3 final with secondary gear reduction and then 5th and 6th are a bit taller..

Ap2's shift into 5th at about 103 (@8k) where as the ap1's go into 5th at around 118 (@9k) both with stock 4.10's..

From my experience racing a I/H/E ap1 from 20-125 if I'm not infront by the time I go into 5th I got pulled pretty hard when the ap1 was still in 4th.. But once he shifted into 5th I caught back up and put a half car on him before we shut down at the very top of my 5th gear..

Gearing is a crazy thing.. Because if I was behind him I couldn't pass him before we shut down at 125..
