does anybody else notice that these s2k haters are all guests here???
they go from forum to forum bagging on others cars because that they think theirs is far superior than everyone elses.

STI's are overrated in how much power they are actually producing at the flywheel. There is an article that either motortrend or caranddriver did where they dynoed the STI and Evo IX. The Evo IX is rated at 286 HP and 289 lbs tq while the STI is at 300 HP and 300 lbs tq and the Evo put down more power to the wheels than the STI by a good margin... Why I know that is because before buying an S2000, I was seriously considering buying either an Evo or STI until my friend suggested that I looked into an S2000. And that's what I'm driving now....

if they trapped at like 104+ then i just sit back and take it, but a 101 car and a 100 car are a helluva race from a roll.
What I also find funny, is how the RSX traps @ about 95 mph stock...And yet alot of people consider that to be a drivers race with an s2000 (im not one of them in stock form at least) but somehow (even using the claimed 103-104mph traps) with the STI 1-2 mph is ALWAYS, HAND'S DOWN, GAME OVER, GOOD NIGHT a loss?! Yeah, maybe on your WRX forums that flies, but not when I've seen in happen more then a few times.
Maybe you guy's have been racing the wrong s2000's.....or s2000 drivers!

I know..And I trapped at 101.7 while running a 13.7 stock too...Maybe that's why I've pulled on a couple of STI's. And im not talking about hung close with one or 2. Im talking about taking the win.

completely. STI's get a 102ish trap speed bc of the 60 ft time they are capable of bc of the AWD platform. a S2000, driven properly, cannot match a properly driven STI's 60 ft time. but from a roll, that advantage is taken away from the STI. with the STI getting a much better 60ft time, yet only averaging a mile or two faster with their trap speeds, obviously the S2000 makes up with the power AFTER the 60ft time (which would be where a roll would start)

you cant equate stating the facts with hating...and now you are just generalizing. Every car has its weaknesses...have you learned what yours are?? I certainly have, which is why im on this forum admiring the road racing qualities and physics of the s2k. Do yourself a favor and go to other forums with no street racing/ecounters threads...they are much cleaner forums

Did I say anything about your specific car? I've beaten every S2K I've ever raced with my STi, and only barely lost a roll to a turb-S2K, so what, we're talking about stock cars here. Why don't you shut your pie-hole and find someone to make a video that proves me wrong.
Oh wait, you can't...'cause that car doesn't exist.
Stock vs stock; STi > S2K (roll or dig, and from any speed up to the electronic limiter)

Oh, and the comment about you beating every s2k you've raced, hmm, you're not stock, and yet you make the WRONG assumption that we are still talking about stock cars from the OP. Check the OP's mods. I don't give a rat's ass if he is still N/A and doesn't have any BIG hp gaining mods like ITBs, he still is not stock. Bottom line: we're not talking about stock cars here, and even if we were/will, theres obviously differences from car to car even stock i.e. notice that 06 s2ks dyno higher #s than all the rest? hmmm....
All I'm saying is you need to either put up better defenses than the typical comments you do for everytime an STi or WRX loses other than assuming the person can't drive or just not post a reply. Accept the fact that its a great car (the STi), but it's not this magnificent car that can't be beaten by a stock S2K without an incompitent driver.

butcher: I was an "owner" and a "member" when you were still driving your pop's hand-me-down Dodge Omni, so stick that in your sexy little S2K-pipe and smoke it.
