S2guy-

the maita vs. s2k "fun to drive factor" is also subjective. the miata is very nimble, but so underpowered, and the s2k has the power, but its not as nimble. to me, having alot of seat time in both, the s2k is the more fun to drive car. but the miata is the damn bench mark for roadsters.

stitos2k: I'll agree that the EVO's steering is superior to the STi's, as well as it's seats, and modability, but that's where it ends. Don't get me started on the superior aspects of the STi, I'd be here all day. Why don't you do a little research on which is more traded; STi for EVO, or EVO for STi. Doing so will quickly show you that you're the exception, not the rule. Also, you're '07 info is wrong. The only thing they changed on the '07 turbo was the wastegate design in an effort to control creep when modded. The '07 doesn't run any stronger than the '04-'06 cars, but it does reach the 1320 in 4th, making it the quickest in the

I test drove a stock STi, pulled nice in the lower gears, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if a STOCK one was equal to an s2000 at higher speeds. Don't they trap right around 100mph also?

Either way who cares, they're still stuck with a boring AWD car.
