There's a difference, if you think about it for a bit.
Speaking of GED, did you ever pick up his solo CD? Supposedly they are back in the studio working on the next one. They recently released a Chronicles DVD with a bunch of video footage and some hidden 'secret' videos, now you know what DVD to get me.
This is why we should both trade our cars in for Ferrari 550 Barchettas (Red of course) to take GED and Alex around for rides the next time they are in town...

not really any of my business, but S2k guy - what plates you have on the car doesn't matter. Our DOJ friend ran a VIN check on the car, which would make the plates irrelevant. If the VIN came back as still being registered as whoever it is in Texas, then that just makes your claim that the plates are old and have since been removed and the car re-registered even more confusing.

The tranny in the Boxster S is from the 911 and it happens to be an efficient one in terms of HP loss in the drive train, I'm not talking proximity here, I'm talking design, I guess you missed that. I'm not sure where you are getting your Turbo information, but it goes against everything else I've seen, such as the Bi-Turbo Boxster and aftermarket turbo and superchargers for both the Boxster and the 911. Have you forgotten that Porsche also made the 914? Are you telling me that the 914 is superior to the Boxster? Heck an early to mid 90's 911 won't keep up with a Boxster S. Porsche, as with any performance car company, comes in a variety of configurations and changes throughout the years. You can't label them all terrific or all bad, everyone should buy what they like right? Are you going to tell me that Honda's reputation has been tarnished by releasing the Del Sol?
Drive what you like, plain and simple...

Maybe that means Honda "isn't" a premium sports car manufacturer....
BTW, I could turbocharge a Dodge NEON and dust off an S2000, so any comparison you make in that fashion is wasted, neither the S2000 or the Boxster is good buy HP/$. Both might be better buys than say a Ferrari 550 Barchetta convertible, but I'd still rather have the Ferrari...
