Are you insinuating that "always laughing" and I are the same person? Speaking of your girlfriend, wasn't she the reason you bought the S2K in the first place? She rode in my yellow MR2 Spyder and just had to have a yellow convertible, I'm flattered that you like my choice in cars (yellow convertibles) so much to copy me.
Come over tonight and we'll take a spin in a Ferrari, although I warn you they are tough to drive on the track until you get the feel for the handling. Also I visit the 911 message forum as well as they are not slamming the Boxster there at all, in fact many 911 owners have said that they enjoy driving the Boxster more than the 911 Cabriolet because of the different driving characteristics. Feel free to visit both the 911 and Boxster sites more than once and actually read something there. I challenge you right now in fact to go over to the Boxster Board and find someone slamming the S2000, or claiming to have a magic Boxster, I see no such messages. As always laughing pointed out your statements here aren't lending any credence to what you are saying.

What I meant by that statement was that Ed "chose" to be my enemy, Ed chooses to follow me around and post after me ala a stalker, I don't make him do it, I didn't do anything to Ed. I don't email him and I don't visit his website. You also seem to be suffering from the view of this one thread and extrapolating it to all threads I've participated in on this website. If you looked solely at this thread you might get the impression that I was trying to stick up for the Porsche Boxster, but that's not why I am here. I certainly don't go around tossing statements like "I've seen car X kick car Y's butt around the track all day long". As anyone, who knows anything about tracking a car knows, the driver as well as the configuration of each car makes a HUGE difference. Weren't you one of the people saying the MR2 Spyder kills the S2000 on the track? Then by the transitive property the MR2 Spyder would be killing the Boxster S, you remember the transitive property right? That just ain't so. Let's not fall into another one of those "But if I do this mod or that mod to my car I would be faster" arguments, they are meaningless.

If you don't think that ALL people who buy Porsches buy them to impress others then why did you make such a silly claim?

Good eye, it is a Spyder. It belongs to one of our younger members. Don't worry, we straightened him out. Putting a Ferrari logo on a Toyota is almost as silly as putting a Corvette Badge on a Stook. I prefer to think of it as Kenny's Ferrari. My Spyder has been mistaken for everything from a Maseratti to a Bug-Eye Sprite. One guy blocked me in a parking lot and would not let me out till I told him what it was. He had a bet on with his wife. Wifey said Porsche, he said Maseratti. It says Toyota right on the back.
By the way, a few of us are running the Dragon from November 1st through the 5th. Come join us! Kenny, you can come only if you drive your Ferrari.
