Boxster fun....
Wow Kenny! Nice car! I especially like those pretty floor mats. But you know that I am a sucker for floor mats. How about putting up a few pics of your Ferrari Spider? I know everyone can't wait to see that one. Does it have floor mats too? I would really like to see a video of you driving your Ferrari. You know, a video or a picture where you are actually in your car. There were lots of those pictures of you in your Toyota MR2 Spyder. Is your camera busted? The Ferrari Spider is a true work of art, but you know that every time you get in yours and fire up that wonderful engine under glass, don't you?
Hey Ken,
What gives with having Texas plates on your Boxster when your location is listed as being Missouri? I had registered one of my previous cars in Alabama where I had just moved from to avoid the INSANELY high Mississippi tag fees, but got nervous about being caught.

Nice speed, John. How did you do that with Liz sitting beside you? We took a trip in the s2000 up to Charlottesville today, and if I sped a little, Janice was all over me. But then again, I had to put my S up to 90 today just to catch up with Janice's Jeep on 295.
And I'm supposed to teach her how to drive my car???!?!?!Mark

No personal property tax in Texas, thus less expensive to license a car there. If it is good enough for George Bush (Sr.) then it is good enough for me! It also helps confuse officers by having a drivers license from another state. If you get pulled over, just ask for directions because you are from out of state and lost...
Gee Kenny, I thought your USED Boxster had a Texas plate in those pictures because that is where the FORMER owner had it licensed? Have the Texas Chili Farts of the FORMER owner worked their way out of the driver's seat yet? I'll bet I know where you have your Ferrari licensed...

FANTASYLAND!

FANTASYLAND!
Hey, i've got a question how come every time i see a regular boxster rolling aroud they won't race me, i guess there just upset about the money they spent for the performance they got! Still waiting for that first boxster S race, can't wait!!!
well if you drove a boxster non s would you want to race against a car like the s2000. faster, better handling, much better looking and 15,000 cheaper. If i were them i would hide in shame of fiscal ineptitude. now the s is different.Even more overpriced but much faster. If you got a good launch you should be ok if not it might be tough to catch up. It is all in the launch. If you roll on then you should be fine also. worst you can do roll ons is tie.
I see Ed Black is posting off topic again, it looks like he wants me to drive my 360 down to Florida and visit Disneyworld, I dunno, sounds like fun, maybe I'll have to do that. I see add is also denegrating residents of the state of Texas, implying that they are all wetbacks eating chili and expelling gas. It is sure comforting to know that we have people like Ed around to keep stereotypes, prejudice and bigotry alive in our country, unless of course Ed isn't from this country, but I digress.
The Boxster S is a little faster than the S2000 on a rolling start, and quite a bit faster from a dead stop unless you have a "perfect" launch in the S2000, it also has tons of low end torque that makes zipping through traffic more manageable and more responsive with simply a tap on the gas pedal. Yes, it does cost more, but it also holds its value more and comes with many more options, so it depends on what you like and what you want out of a car, how long you are planning to keep the car, and what your driving style is like.
