Ken,

Just a quick question? Explain to me how you were able to license the car in Texas without being a Texas resident? Also, I got a little curious and ran the license plate number and it came back to a registered and licensed Texas owner. Not only that, the other plate belongs to a resident of Kansas of a different name. By the way, Texas won't issue a license plate to an out of state owner unless that owner can show permanent residency in Texas. Just seemed a little funny to me, since this happens to be part of my job. Any explanations?

What I'm saying Ken if you already haven't realized, is this Boxster can't possibly belong to you. Neither does the S2K.

Now there's a street encounter for you!

PS. I also ran the VIN#WPOCB29834S660 and it comes back to the same owner! That owner isn't you! Infact, I can give you most of import history on the car also. Amazing things these computers.

Let's just keep this for prosparity sake if you decide to delete your comments:

[QUOTE]I've raced an S2000 from a dead stop and my Boxster S was faster, from a rolling start at different miles per hour it can be pretty close, I would have thought that a regular boxster you would have crept away from. And although we might pay more for our Boxsters, remember there is more to a car than straight line speed on public streets. Don't forget, I've got seat heaters!

I've got some pics of my Speed Yellow Boxster S and a Spa Yellow S2000 (with Neuspeed exhaust, and a video) belonging to a friend at the follow web page: Boxster S and S2000 Pics and Video.

Uh Oh! Back up your servers quick! You guys are about to get Kenny P.O.ed. He is mean when he is cornered as those of us in the Spyder community know all too well. Just another heads up for you...

On the board he used to own, Kenny posted condolences to the families and victims of the recent terror attacks against the USA. The next day he created a phoney user and posted a bunch of trash on the board which had to be deleted. Get this...

He used the name Osama Bin Laden to do this. I wonder how those poor families of the victims would feel if they knew. This guy is beneath contempt.

In fact, Kenny used my email address to register the user, Osama Bin Laden in the hope that I would be deluged by hate mail and threats. It did not work because people know me too well and they know that I would never do anything so disgusting.

Let me save Kenny the trouble...

He will deny this... Nope it was him, his IP was logged.
Another user stole his ID... Nope he used another ID, that of Osama Bin Laden so there was nothing to steal and nobody stole his IP. Besides his ID and password have been the same for the last six months according to the current owner of that board.

Read all about it on www.spyderchat.com

BUSTED SQUARED!

Watch your step around this guy. He is an industry analyst and has the ability to cause this board great harm. He has done it before.

Ken,

Just to stifle your curiosity. I work for the DOJ Department of Justice. If you decide to get a wild hair up your arse and try something stupid, I thought I'd just let you know, so there would be no mistake on your part. Computer tampering is a really nasty business and has sever consequences.

So if your thinking about some retaliation against this board or anyone else I would suggest you don't. Your IP has been logged and your location is known. Anytime we make checks like this it has to be done. Have a really nice day!

Cheers

I like the seatbelts, I like the center console, I like the car, no matter who owns it. I prefer my S2000 but to my knowelge all seatbelts are the same I might just have to take a trip to the porsche dealer about a retro fit?
Don't get me wrong I love my Honda, but a good idea is a good idea no matter where it comes from.
-IMHO-

JRM,
I see why the Justice Department can't put Microsoft away, they have people like you using outdated computers tracking stale information in old databases. I probably have 4 sets of that Texas plate sitting in the back trunk of my car, how is that possible??? Feel free to look in my trunk, but you better get a warrant first otherwise you'll have some 'splain'n to do. Certainly you can run the VIN number on the Boxster S and find who the original owner was (the guy that Ed Black makes fun of because he was hispanic and lives in Texas), but if the Justice Department would get rid of its Macintosh computers (and trust me I know how many they still have in service, it is pathetic) maybe, just maybe you could get a bit more up to date information.

Now let's look at your SECOND blunder. Did I EVER say that I owned that yellow S2000 in the pictures along with my Boxster? NOPE, never did, you ASSUMED that I did, when in fact that car is clearly owned by someone else on this thread and if you ever followed any of the messages that he and I post, you would have KNOWN that. BUT, since your research efforts are lacking, to say the very least, you messed that one up to. Not only is the owner of that car an eyewitness to the fact that I own the Boxster S, so are 2 other S2000 owners who I met at the last meeting, so feel free to double, and triple check your facts.

BTW, I know the complete history of my car, but please oh do please share what interesting tidbits you discovered with your Justice Department connections. I wonder if anyone at the Justice Department would be interested to know that you are researching private citizens when you should be doing your job?

Let's see next we have Ed Black, posting his usuall off topic jibberish, something about him having all sorts of evidence that I've hacked a board or something. Something I haven't done and something he continues to fabricate. It was pretty funny, he messed up in his last round of fabrication he said that I created 3 different accounts like the Osama Bin Laden, etc. and then when confronted by the owner of the message board that in fact it wasn't my IP address, Ed shut up real quick. Oops, wrong again Ed. I've never once shown any ill will towards this board or any regular user here, even JRM when he can't get his facts straight.

Oh and brief note for both JRM and Ed, don't even think about trying to start anything with me. I have no time for "flame wars" and mindless jibberish. JRM, while you do have nothing better to do but run other people's plates, please tell me how George Bush senior licenses his cars in Texas yet last year didn't spend but a couple of days in the state?

Now, if we may, back to the matter at hand, discussing cars, options on cars, etc. As for the yellow seat belts you can buy them later from a Porsche dealer and have them retrofitted into an existing Boxster, or for that matter if you have color belts and wanted to go to black you could do the same thing. I don't know if the belts will fit a Honda S2000 or not, but the next time I get together with my S2000 buddies (assuming the Justice Department hasn't all nabbed them because they are secretly South American drug czars) I'll try to do some measuring and see if it looks like they will fit.

I just re-read JRM's and Ed's messages, you guys crack me up...

Well, this is all I have to say on this matter. Where do I say anything about "wetbacks" or those of Hispanic heritage? What I said was "I wonder if the Texas Chili Farts have worked their way out of the driver's seat yet?" I eat Chili and sometimes I have been known to cut one too and yet I am an Irish Jew. That must be some successful "wetback" to afford the NEW version of the Boxster S that Kenny claims to now own. My post above is just my way of poking a little fun at Kenny for buying a used car and then bragging about all of his automotive knowledge. I am still waiting for a picture of Ken in his imaginary Ferrari Modena 360 Spider.

Kenny always does this. He puts words in people's mouths and then denies what he says they said. Here is what I said. In one of the most callous, unthinking acts I have ever seen anyone do, Ken Smiley from his IP at Kansas City Roadrunner created the user that he named "Osama Bin Laden." There is NO doubt about that. Then, while the World Trade Center burned, he posted messages under that name in various threads at www.spydermagazine.com saying things like "I am going to take over now."

When he created that user with the name of the most hated man in the world, he used my email address. He did so in the hope that others would think that I had done that horrible thing. He thought wrong.

Kenny is now a pariah. Nobody believes a word he says anymore and neither should you. Ken Smiley DID hack our board and he DID delete scores of valuable threads because he had himself a little hissy fit. This guy is dangerous, watch your back.

I've got $10 Million US that says the Boxster S is mine, bought and paid for and registered in my name. If you want to put your money where you mouth is, let's get a 3rd party escrow agent to take over and settle this.

I'm apalled that our law enforcement agencies are so out of date. I can easily produce both the title and the registration for this vehicle, all you can produce are your erroneous facts. Well, time to call your bluff and let you see your error of your ways.

How much do you want to bet? Or should I say how much do you want to lose? I will freely submit to any 3rd party inspection of both the title and registration as long as you are willing to put up something on your end for accusing me of breaking the law without any facts.
