Boxster S and the S2000's are very comparable cars. I've raced them on the street and the track.

If you are racing a 360 on the street - then, you are a new Ferrari owner and haven't experienced anything broken yet.

s2ken. How do you do it. Every chat forum you are ever on you manage to piss everyone off. If what Ed Black says is to true you should be ashamed. You obviously have no respect for our country, flag, or what freedom represents. On the subject at hand,it gets old. boxster has no,none zero,zilch performance advantage over the s2000. Yes it has a 0.1 second advantage in the 1/4 mile but with pro drivers they were able to achieve better times with our cars around various tracks by .3-.4 seconds. I would call it all a wash but technically since neither cars are drag cars and both track cars then the track stat is more important so we really have the higher performance car. And please dont come back with the same crap as last time with they dont know how to drive mid engine cars cause that is bs. ferrrari and porsche make many mid engine cars and they are not idiots. I understand you need your bruised ego stroked because you spent 20,000 more on a car and all you have to show for it is a 8 spk stereo and climate control. Both which are not to useful in a convertible
So go get your ego stroked on the 914 err boxster site where you can talk about how you won the lottery and your car is the one with the extra h/p from the factory. Just so people dont think I am a cold hearted sob I will clear up the ken and his cars confusion since I grow weary of ken/ed black fueds. He bought the boxster in tx and the owner sold it to him and let him use the plates. He does own it but has tx plates to save money on registration. Hell if you forked over 55 grand you would need to cut corners too. And ken never owned a Ferrair 360. It was a joke that seems to reel ed black in everytime.

And btw the yellow beautiful brand new s2000 in the picture next to the boxster is mine and not ken s

Only one of us has any reason to lie about this. Ken has done some outlandish and disgusting things in the past, but this is a new low.

Mr Laporta, what the *()*@#$# are you smoking? We weren't even talking about the performance of either car anymore. Read the thread from the beginning I said and have said before that the cars are pretty darn close in performance. My car doesn't have Texas plates on it NOW, it had Texas plates on it when I drove it back from Texas because that is what was on it from the dealer I bought it from. Those pictures were taken MONTHS ago when the Texas plates where on when I first got home with the car. The car was licensed and registered in my home state, all taxes paid and has a valid license plate on the car of my home state ever since. I never once said that I continued to have a Texas plate on the car after bringing it back from Texas. Did I? Nope. I can't help it if people are friggin morons, or claim to be someone from the Justice Dept (yeah like we all believe that anyway). I privately messaged JRM (because he doesn't have his email registered here) and he chose to keep this public and spread his ()*#@$ here after I asked him to take it private and that I would provide him with the facts.

And by the way I dont know what plates you have on your car now but I was trying to help you by telling people you really have a porsche you bozo. And you stated in your message that the perf of the boxster was better then the s2000. Try to keep track of your posts. Scroll up with your mouse and read the part where you said this in your last email

The Boxster S is a little faster than the S2000 on a rolling start, and quite a bit faster from a dead stop unless you have a "perfect" launch in the S2000.
