This again?

Geez.

I've done several runs against the same Boxster S from ~40mph to 120, and we were dead even the entire way each time.

This was with both cars fully stock and top-up.

 

The 455 was in an old 1968 Olds Toronado W-31 that I used to have, 425HP, 510 ft/lbs of torque, that thing was a beast and would roast the front tires like you wouldn't believe, it was also a bed on wheels, no hump between the seats.

I don't think his M3 wants to mess with "BLTZKRG", she's not your average Boxster S....

There's also a 56 Jag off to the left but you can't see it well in this photo, it's in my signature though...

 

Hmmm seems that my signature picture had disappeared, oh well. Here's something else then, a couple of my lap runs at the track where I catch and pass a e46 M3 on the track (rather easily I might add), I even pulled on him in the straights despite taking the entry turn in 3rd gear because of the slick conditions. Certainly not my best time around this track either and this was prior to my latest suspension/tire improvements.

Wow, your Boxster must have some serious mods. I've got the M3 coupe listed at 0-60 in 4.7 & many other articles seem to back that up. The M3 cab is closer to the Boxster and S2000 time of 5.5. That plus it weighs 350+lbs more than the the regular M3.

My mom's minivan once beat a boxster on the freeway. And we were pulling a pop-up camper. Big deal.

Sure, our van is faster in a straight line, but when it comes time to turn (especially with a trailer ), the Porsche will eat our van for lunch and not even bother to spit out the turbos.
