It was a Roush stage II... Ground effects and suspension are the difference.... That stang is the most overpriced Mustang you can buy IMO. It is probably slower than a stock GT, as the ground effects make the car heavier. Anyway, as far as going against a 2000 Cobra you should lose. My friend Ivan lost to a 2001 Cobra in his s2000 3-4 times all from a roll at various RPMs and it wasn't really close 3-4 carlenghts to 100. The higher the speeds the worse he lost. I have raced both and the Cobra is much stronger from a roll IMO!

Hey Rick.. Mr. Blown Mustang. It was about 3 car lengths when I started from 1st gear, but only towards the end of the race (Did you have your contacts in). 
Did you forget how it was barely over 1 car length and how he only passed me towards the end of the race when we started from 2nd gear (that was the closest race). I was concentrating that time. 
I would hope he is just as fast or faster than me when for a Mustang he nearly paid the same price as an S2K and he has over 300hp. I'll give kudos to the new Cobra, it is definitely fast. I am pretty sure the S2K is faster than the 96-98 Cobra's. We've definitely had some good races before your S/C (even though I pulled on you most times from a roll). Now is of course a completely different story, as your wins are now counted in 18 wheeler truck lengths instead of car lengths.

OK Ivan..... A win is a win.... You raced 4 times lost all 4...
Anyway, ask Ryan about my race with a C5 Vette last night. I pulled on him and passed him at the end of third gear with my AC on and 1 extra person in my car. The Vette guy freaks and ask whats in that thing... pretty funny stuff..... Give me a call later (Cell)
