He's a crook and has recently been taking money from viper and vette people and not delivering the goods. He's about to go out of business and is being chased by collection agencies like mad from the clients cars that he didn't deliver on.

Example:

A guy on the vette forum gave $25,000 for a package to have done to his vette. He had his car shipped to texas from Hawaii and delivered to Hennessey in April. As of October, NO WORK had been done on his car and he couldn't even get them to return his call. To this day, Hennessey still has his money and his LS6 heads. Hennessey blew his original LS6 motor by experimenting with an ungodly huge nitrous shot on a dyno. Real nice guy. I don't think you'll find a nice thing said about him on the viper or vette boards anymore.

 

Thanks for the info. Somehow I'd missed this. I'll give him no sympathy.

I think Hennessey would be great if ran by someone else. He definetly knows his car, but not how to run a business. He has even been found bashing tuners on the viper board.

The vette guy offered to accept $10K and his heads instead of the $25K just to get it resolved (obviously the guy is incredibly rich, he owns a recently purchased Z8 too). Hennessey told him he'd sent the check, but nothing. Again, now he can't get a response. He talked to some lawyers and I think that's the route he's going to eventually go, but it's going to cost him a pretty penny to get back his $25K and his heads. I doubt he'll come out with more than $5K after court expenses and whatnot. The only people that win in lawsuits are the lawyers.

 

I think it's about time for him to close his business. I read mucho stuff on the viper's board about his misconducts.
